INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP

Expressing and dealing with emotions

May 21- 25, 2026 (Memorial Day Weekend)

Hanna Barn, Vashon Island, Washington, USA

This workshop introduces the foundations of our work at the School of the Essential Self. We will focus on healthy ways to express emotions such as fear, anger, sadness, shame, and joy, and practice inviting more excitement and aliveness into life.

Through dance, art, sharing, and conversation, we will explore the basics of emotional intelligence, and each get to know our Essential Self, the person we are outside of the social roles we play and masks we wear.

In this workshop, we create safe spaces for sharing and connecting, allowing participants to build friendships based on acceptance, respect, and vulnerability.

Cost:

The suggested donation for this workshop is $250 and includes accommodation and two meals per day.
